Verandah dividers now open on Magic?

I know the Magic verandah dividers did not use to be able to open, but I read in a trip report on Trip advisors that has changed since the refurb. Looking for first hand knowledge if this is true!

Thanks for the information! Can you tell me which staterooms you are in? We are sailing in 7110 and 7108. Keeping our finger crossed that they will open.

They all open as we noticed two weeks ago after disembarkment in Venice. We saw them cleaning all verandahs at once with high pressure water and all verandahs were open for an efficient workflow. So don't worry: yours will open if you wish.
Opening is done with a special key, so I assume you have to request your stateroom host to open the divider for you.

Does anyone know if the aft whitewall verandahs open? We're in 6652 and 6650 in January.

We were in 7594 two weeks ago. One wall had the divider that could be opened the other was a solid metal wall.

Anyone know if 7596/7598 open together? I assumed ( incorrectly obviously) that all of the verandahs opened since everyone that we've been on have.

On the Fantasy and Dream (and most likely the Magic) the verandah dividers can be opened so that connecting rooms can have a larger verandah. This is sort of an odd angle, but it's looking down on some verandahs that the dividers have been opened:

One disclaimer - not all dividers open. There are some on deck 10 (Fantasy & Dream) that don't open due to the ship's superstructure. This is one of the non-opening dividers
