Vera Bradley lovers a sale question

Hi All! I am looking online at the additional 20% off all sale items. Do you think this is as good as it's going to get? Will they have a Black Friday sale or Monday sale? What have the sales been like in the past?

I saw some things I'd like to get but if it will go cheaper then I'd wait.

First of all, they have a 90 day return policy... and you can return it to a VB retailer in your area (no shipping) I did this, and it was pretty painless. The website will tell you authorized retailers. Often Hallmark or "gift shops."

If it is a certain bag, in a certain sale color, I would get it now. Worst case, return it later. But if something is already a sale color, i wouldnt count on it being there once it has sold out.

Not too long ago, VB had one of those sales where 3 prints were 60% off. The first day of the sale, 9am I was shopping...putting things in my cart. In the time it took me to check out, several of my items were sold out. So when there is a GOOD sale it goes fast.

I didn't know you could return online items at a retail store. That's good to know. Even the discontinued patterns?

The items I'm looking at are in the discontinued patterns. They are discounted but VB is offering an additional 20% off. I don't want to buy them and then they go say 40-50% off in a few weeks. Do they do price adjustments or offer credit if you buy something and then it goes on sale even more?

They usually do a gift with purchase on BF. I'm not sure if sale items will be marked down again before then.

This. I have lost things in my cart before as well. I especially agree with getting that certain bag in the certain sale color ASAP.

I already deleted them but last week I had an email from MyPoints that had some great prices on 2 of the Vera Bradley bags. You might look into joining and checking to see if the deal is on the site. MyPoints is a rewards shopping site....you shop thru their site at select merchants, earn points, cash in for gift cards. I think the bags were the small duffel and the Villager.

I decided to go ahead and get what I want. DD wants a pencil pouch to match her bag. I'm afraid it'll sell out before Christmas. It's sad that the shipping is as much as the pouch!
