Vera Bradley - large backpack or messenger $40 thru Wed 7/14

I went to the VB website to order the backpack or messenger and ended up ordering the large duffel to use as a carry-on. I got it in "Symphony in Hue" and it is absolutely gorgeous; it arrived Saturday.

I also ordered a tote but in the same pattern but am not sure I'll use it enough to warrant keeping it.

Fortunately, there are many retailers around here where I can return it if I decide not to keep it.

I'm so upset, they canceled my order and want to refund my payment with a gift card Just refund my credit card, but if I had know Night and Day was out of stock I would have ordered something else. All the stores in my area have sent them back....

I got my messenger bag in Pirouette. I like it. However, there are 2 features I don't care for. I don't like how the clasp is kind of under the flap. I feel like I am pulling on it to get to the clasp. I wish the clasp was on the end of the flap, not a few inches underneath. And also the side pockets are not very big. They do not hold a water bottle. They won't fit my sunglasses. I can't put my keys in there because I can't fit my hand in there to get the keys out.

Other than that, its great. And DD likes her Paprika messenger. She already had the paprika wristlet.
