Does anyone have or seen the backpacks? The ones that retail for around $80. I'm interested to see what you think.

My sister has 3 of the style I just linked and swears by it for school and for weekends away. I have a friend that uses one exclusively for Disney trips. I'm planning on buying one myself for our Nov trip.

I have an older one(different style) that I use when I travel. It is made well and worth $$. Mine is about 6 years old and still perfect. Of course it is mostly black so does not show any dirt. I paid $72 back then.

They are not big enough for me. I prefer the messenger bag. I like that I can carry it over one shoulder and still get into it without having to take it off. I LOVE my messenger bag!

I have two of the older version backpack, love them!!! I use it as a regular pocketbook, just sling it over my shoulder There is a newer version which is bigger. I'm thinking about buying one for this summer as I will be traveling to Japan

Funny you should ask! I have the one in the link above and I decided today I really don't like it that much. Its kind of hard to carry. I like to carry it over one shoulder and you really can't because it slides too much.


I also have this backpack and I like it much better. Its not as heavy and it doesn't slide off my shoulder like the other one. This one doesn't have as many inside compartments as the first one, but I usually just have my wallet and my palm pilot and my phone, so I really don't have a need for all those compartments.

I have one that looks like the backsack that powellrj shows, but it has a flap that covers the drawstring part.

Love it, love the way VB fabric wears.

I just got the one in the link (different fabric) last month and I LOVE it! I'm using it as my everyday purse, and it holds everything I need with room to spare. I even have room for a small pack of baby wipes. With the warm weather finally here, I'll also be able to fit in sunscreen.

My cell phone fits in one of the side pockets. There are two extra zipper compartments, one on the front and one on the back, which are great for my lipstick compact and misc. stuff (receipts, shopping lists, etc.).

The straps are very comfy for me and stay on without any problems, since you can adjust them. I also like that there is a "handle" that you can use if you just need to carry it for a second.
