I found some other sales, too. I got the Perfect Pocket Tote in Simply Violet for less than $40 shipped. I like that it is deep enough to easily accommodate my tablets and folders for work and my iPad. The big outside pockets are also good for a water or soda bottle.

I logged on to Vera Bradley.com and ordered the bookbag and a travel organizer and clicked on promotion code, put in julyfun and it took $15 off? Didn't need to log into my points?

You would not need to log into mypoints for the code to work. You log into mypoints to get the points for shopping online.

Check first and see if there is a VB outlet near where you live. They are in a bunch of outlet malls. They are giving an additional 30% off and if you sign up for their e mail you will get an additional 20.00 off 75. If you sign up for their email they send you free 20.00 on your bd and 20.00 later in the year ...just because.

I went to the outlet, got 3 totes and two purses total would have been over 500.00 got them for total of 75. These outlets are in Premium Outlet Malls.

Does anyone know how these hold up to everyday use?

Both dds need a new backpack, younger dd likes one from Lands End, but older dd not so much. She would L-O-V-E Vera Bradley.

She is entering into 8th grade and typically brings home a few binders and one or two books each night.

It is just quilted cotton cloth and I do not know how it would hold up to daily use. I use mine only a few times a year and mostly when I go to WDW it starts to look a little ratty after a few weeks. If you get a dark print it would most likely hold up for the year.
