Hi all,

Looking for some insight...I was lucky enough to have my own Fairytale Wedding on 10/10/10 and now one of my best friends just got engaged and is also interested in a Fairytale Wedding. Only problem is there doesn't seem to be too many options of ceremony venues for their party size. They are going to have around 100. Ideally they would LOVE to do something at the Wilderness Lodge but realize they only do that for really intimate weddings.

Does anyone know of a larger ceremony happening at a different spot at Wilderness? Or any other suggestions of venues at one of the resorts that can hold a guest count of 100? :confused3

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

What about Shipwreck beach at the Beach Club. I'm not positive on the guest count but I know it holds a good number. It's a very pretty location :)

We're getting married on shipwreck beach, our guest count is around 80 and we thought it was around 100 when we booked- no issues with her guest count there. :)

I believe the YC gazebo would work as well, they offered us luau beach at the Poly also. Is she looking for outdoor specifically?

I think they can do ceremonies in LSS for a group that size. Also, I think the Italy pavilion in Epcot can accommodate them.

They're currently looking at YC Gazebo but not loving how close the balconies of the rooms are.

The theme of their wedding is Maine (since they really wanted to get married there) so they're going for a location that would outdoorsy and woodsy.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like Disney has anything that will accommodate it unless her sales person can make something happen! :sad1:

How about Fort Wilderness? My floral planner told me it's a very big trend right now for burlap and rustic accents etc. Perhaps bringing in these elements help create the woods-y feel for them? How about something in the Canada pavilion in Epcot?

I think you should check out the Canada Pavilion in Epcot. I've seen photos of other brides' weddings there and it's gorgeous! Very rustic feel as well with the beautiful waterfall :goodvibes

I'm not sure how many these venues hold but what about the Marina at the GF or the Croquet Lawn at the Boardwalk?

Also what about the Swan & Dolphin, they have beach weddings.

Or Coronado Springs Resort.
