VENT: So frustrated about not being able to book Jan. dinner shows or tours!

I'm sorry, but I need to vent. I think it is inexcusable that Disney cannot even tell their CM's when they will be able to book Jan. 2007 dinner shows and tours. I do not appreciate having to call long-distance every couple of days to see if they are booking these yet. With the new 180 day booking window, I thought this was finally my year to get great seats at the Hoop-De-Doo and I want to book the Family Magic Tour at the MK. The tour sells out quickly...I am so afraid of missing my date. We are on the Disney Wonder for 4 days prior, and are only going to be WDW for 3 days, so I really need the date that I picked. My 180 days out has come and gone, and I just want to get these booked! I do have a life, Disney! Okay, I'm calmer now. Thanks for the vent.

OK....these are my thoughts....I would call back and ask for guest services.....tell them your predicament....and how you keep calling back and you are past the 180 day thing. I would think they would help you, but make sure it is guest services once you call the regular number, also the cm's do not always want to give you to guest services so stand your ground and make sure it is guest services.

Maybe Disney could pick up a few pages from the airlines... just book you even if they have no intention of doing these things....


(I am only kidding, but I would rather they waited until they KNEW what they were doing then took reservations that they MIGHT be able to keep!)

My thoughts exactly!!! I have been trying to book Hoop De Doo for a while now, and I HATE that nobody can give me any idea of when it can be booked. We are well within the 180 day window now for almost the whole month of January- what is the holdup??

I always call 1-800-828-0228 to make my resort reservations as well as dining. I am sure the other number would work, too, just wanted to give you another option.

I just tried the same thing today, and I was told they would be bookable on August 6th. Or, at least the dinner shows (I didn't ask about tours). Hopefully this is true, but who knows?

I understand that completely. I tried to book a tour and was told...just call back in october or later. Um...no thats not acceptable. I dont want to miss doing the tours because they get sold out or something.

I wanted to do the Spirit of Aloha if my friend joins me on my January trip so at least I know now that I can't book that.
