Yeah, we have company credit cards here too. They're in the employee's name (saves on problems with personal charges coming through on the corporate dime, let me tell you) and any airline charges - including baggage and flight change fees - are swept out and centrally billed to the company. So, theoretically, if the employee uses their corporate card for hotel, meals, rental car, etc, etc, AND the employee submitted their expense report as soon as they got back from a business trip, they would get their reimbursement before the credit card payment was even due.Theoretically. In a perfect world.

Those who need them at my place have company credit cards. The company pays the bill directly, you have to submit receipts on the last day of the month, scanned into a PDF file, and e-mailed to corporate headquarters.. No receipt, it comes out of your paycheck. Little harsh, but it has worked. Only issues we have had are when the COMPANY doesn't pay the American Express bill on time and it gets shut off.....yikes....and just recently someone hacked into American Express and got a half dozen of our card numbers. AE caught it and cut them off before any charges were made, but it took 2 days to get replacement cards. Fortunately, we had a back up plan in place to fuel our company cars for those folks whose cards were shut off. Unfortunately, I am one of the 3 folks authorized to sign for gas, so I made a lot of trips to the gas station over three days.....boss laid down the law, I was not going to gas up the vehicles, just go along with the person assigned to the car and sign for the gas. At least I got away from my desk!
