I have called a few :blush: times over the past month trying to get the 40% discount (finally gave up and booked rack this morning). Anyway, each time, the CM asked me if all my info was current and the email address was not. So they corrected it in the system and yet, the next time I call, it's back to the old email addy :( I don't want to miss out on any offers:sad1: It's frustrating.
 
That would definitely be frustrating since the email address is where the special offers are sent!

I have been experiencing the exact same thing with my home telephone number. Each time I verify the information on my reservation they ask if the phone number is a a new one because it is not what the system shows. (Turns out to be a number from 2 years ago.) I have corrected this at least 10 times over the past month and a half.

Me too!! They always have my old one even though I have changed it with them about eight times. :confused:
 
They do the same thing with my email - it's wrong again each time I call.

I called this morning and they suddenly couldn't find me in the system at all. Nothing at all, as if I'd never been there before......

It's happening to me too. I called last night because my Magical Express dates were incorrect on "My Disney Vacation". Turns out that was just a computer glitch (or so they said). However, they sent me another e-mail confirmation of my reservation. And it went to my old address. The original confirmation went to the new address (luckily both are still working for the moment). So I called again to tell them about the old e-mail address, they corrected it, and sent me another confirmation e-mail. That one, too, went to the OLD ADDRESS!! I don't know what's going on with their computers, but it's getting very frustrating.
 
I've been dealing with both the phone number update and e-mail problem. Each time I call in I've updated but when I call back in to ask a question or add to my package they have the incorrect information again.

I don't get it:confused3 . They've even told me that noted on my record it says not to e-mail anything to me (because they had an e-mail address in there that was at least 3 years old).

I can only hope that the last time I called in, it was finally corrected, I don't mind correcting it when I call, they are really nice over the phone-- but now all of you have me wondering, has this eliminated me for any special codes, etc. for discounts :confused: .
 
I've had the same thing happen with the e-mail thing. The last time I called, however, it HAD stayed fixed, and was correct. Now I think I should call again to make sure it is still that way....
 
It must be all the people flooding the call centers with requests for PINs and discount codes. The computers can't handle the traffic and are revolting! :rotfl:
 
Same here. They have an email address for me that hasn't been active for about 5 years. Each time I call they have the old email and every time I update it with the CM on the phone. I don't think they will ever have it right in the system. At least they have my correct address and phone number but then again neither of those have changed.
 
One of the CMs I spoke with said she heard that every time there is a software load, it seems to load old data into the system as well. And, since they obviously have been in the process of upgrading their computers (almost hourly, it seems), old data keeps reappearing. I'm worried, too, that I won't get some of the e-mails from Disney anymore.
 
Yep, same thing happened to me yesterday. This CM, thanks Bethany :thumbsup2 was wonderful though. I could actually hear her typing stuff. This time I am living at a new address and they still had the old one listed. I have called at least 3 times since reserving YC in Jan to change the email and the new address. For some reason, thank goodness, the first confirmation came to the new email...until I called to change my residence address again and they still had the old email address and the old residence address. I finally asked for a hard copy of the confirmation and if it does not come in 2 weeks I suppose I will be calling back again. By the way, I did not receive another confirmation to the new email address. I always order tickets before we go and I certainly don't want them delivered to the wrong address :eek:
 
They still have my email wrong. I have told them to change it no less than 5 times and it's still wrong. I hear them typing, so I assumed they were fixing it, but I guess not.

Hey Jen, just saw that you are a nursing student. Keep plugging away. I just graduated in December and the rewards are HUGE. . .it really is worth it. . .The hard work will pay off in the end. . .and have fun with the WDW trip. . .this year is my first trip (thanks to being an RN now)

Thank you :) We are so close to being done - it almost feels real. Today was our last official "class" and next week we have NCLEX review 8-5 M-Th. That will be grueling. Then 120 hours of precepting and we're done! :cheer2: Amazing. :goodvibes
