From NYTimes.com:

John Lasseter, the chief creative officer of the Walt Disney Company, who was also a founder of Pixar, will be presented with the Golden Lion award for lifetime achievement at the Venice Film Festival on Sept. 6, The Associated Press reported. Festival organizers also announced on Sunday that four Pixar directors would be honored for their work in animation at the festival, which is to run Sept. 2 to 12 and feature world-premiere screenings of the 3-D versions of “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2.”

In other news, Sept. 6 is my 18th B-Day!
