Velveeta Cheese Slices?

I bought some Velveeta cheese slices a couple of weeks ago and they’re a pain to open. When unwrapping a slice, the plastic rips repeatedly and I wound up with several pieces of cheese - not one slice, and I’m not quite sure I got all the plastic off. I’ve been buying them for years and never had this problem. When I called their 1-800 number, they said they hadn’t heard of it and thought it was an equipment malfunction. Anyone else have the same problem?

Nope, can't stand Velveeta....yuck!! The problem you experienced would definitely be annoying though, no matter what brand of cheese slices. Did they offer you a refund or anything when you called their 800 number?

They sent me a couple of coupons for free cream cheese. (I think I'll have to make cheesecake with it some day soon.) I was afraid to try any of their other slices, and afraid to get Velveeta again. In the meantime, I bought another brand (Bordan?) and it seems okay. But I might just get the Velveeta chunk from now on.
