Vegetarianism?

Morning Star only tastes good to you guys because you've been Vegetarians long enough that you've forgotten the taste of meat. I've tried it, and it made me gag. I could never be one. I don't like it when people say tofu is for vegetarians, because 75% of the time it has meat in the sauce, or something like that.

I don't like red meat, but I could never give up poultry. So no, I'll never be a vegetarian. ;)

I could if I wanted. I don't really like the taste of meat, and don't eat much of it besides chicken.
I've thought about it, but I haven't really decided. I already have really low iron and this girl in my class is a vegetarian and she became really sick because her iron was so low.

I couldn't be a vegan though. Cheese is like...my favorite food ever.
And I love my milk.

I am one.
I have been for...what, 2 and a half years? Ish.
If you get through a month, you're golden.
The only irritating thing is that all the good candy has gelatin in it.
Total bummer.
Other than that---wooo veggies XD

I became one because I figure why eat animals if you don't have to? I don't, like... freak out about people eating meat or protest or any of that stuff... I just think it's the right decision for me, personally =)

morning star black bean burgers!!=omg I could die! they're sooooo good! and I love their chicken alternative stuff. tastayyy.

being a vegitarian would be impossible for me.
i love meat too much.
i don't really like veggies that much either.
except for Asparagus. :]
i looove that stuff.

I've actually only been completely meat free since October 2007. I know what a real hamburger tastes like. There are some veggie burgers that are gross to me (Burger King's is gross) and I don't like Boca burgers because they don't taste real enough to me.

Assuming that people "forget" the taste of meat is ridiculous. Sometimes I smell people grilling out and my mouth waters for it but there is no way I could ever go back to eating meat.

I'm 100% convinced that a meat free diet is better for the environment and better for your body as long as you get the right substitutes.

Yea...I don't eat much hard candy or jello so gelatin isn't a huge problem for me. I also don't pay much attention to beef stock or the like because I try my best to avoid it. If I'm at a restaurant that has vegetable soup that might have beef stock in the broth I'm not going to make a big deal because it might be one of the only things they have that I can eat. Unfortunately vegetarian options at restaurants are limited. :(

Hm. Question for the vegitarians out there.
How hard is it to deal with dining options in Disney?

YESSS! :]

...
but i also dont eat eggs and thats hard...
because a lot of things contain egg.

i am not a vegetarian.
i like burgers and chicken nuggets to much.
but i tip my hat to anyone that is one.
i wish i had that kind of will power.
:]

I've been thinking about becoming a vegetarian for awhile now, meat is just REALLY grossing me out lately.

i think im going to try it for a couple days.

what are you opinions on vegetarianism?
are you vegetarian?

when I was 12 I stopped eating meat for about a month or two. I dont eat meat a lot but I do enjoy it once in a while.

I still eat meat, but mostly because I love burgers. The rest I could leave behind. I also love vegetables, but I think i'd get tired of eating the same thing after a while. Although, I admire vegetarians for how they can hold off eating meat.

By the way, what does a veggie burger taste like? And what's inside it?

I was a vegetarian for a yr when I was 13-14ish.
It was a phase where I just wanted to help the animals and stuff.
It was sooo hard because I LOOOOVE meat.

To answer your question--I was a vegetarian until I went back to Disney!
I do NOT have the will power to cut meat out of my diet.
It was really hard because I had to cook all my own meals cuz the rest of my family ate meat.
I wish I could've been more dedicated to it...but meat is just sooo good.

I've been thinking about it a lot though lately, because I watch "The F Word" (anyone watch that?!) and it shows A LOT about how meats are made and it's slightly sickening--but honestly, I just don't have the will to try it again.

mmmmm yes! What do you put on them though? I put salsa on them sometimes but I feel like I need something different.

Umm, usually I just put on a little bit of ketchup... once I put on some guacamole, that was really good. They're so good just alone, though.

I just want to ask all the vegetarians a question

Why are you a vegetarian?:confused3

I know I was to become more healthy.

I am a vegitarian because I think that it is wrong to be eating them. Right now they could be alive, but no, people ate them. I saw a video on what goes on in a slaughtering house, not pretty. I also don't eat eggs because that could have been a chicken. But no, they destroyed the embryo. If a friend of mine is going to waste meat, I force them to eat it. Don't go around thinking that they just found the animal dead, and then prepared it. They pretty much murder animals...
