hi. i just posted a similar question and was advised to contact the restaurant directly by telephone and speak with the chef. we are on the fence about eating there or at kona bc it seems 'ohana is a major "meatfest". i am sure they would accommodate you if you call ahead. have fun!!
Do either of you read the dining reviews? This dining review thread covers lots of vegetarian options at many WDW restaurants. Sorry but I don't believe they ate at Ohana.
I was going to post this in the other vegetarian thread but thought since you both posted here it would be good.
At Ohana they do offer bread, salad, noodles & veggies with every meal. I don't think anything else is meat free but like they suggested you can call them for more info.
Do you eat shrimp? They have that if you eat it. I know some who will eat seafood and fish and some who won't.
Chef TJ (who used to be at Boma, but it's been posted that he is now at Ohanas) makes fabulous special meals. But be sure to call ahead if there's not something on the regular menu that you like.
They will accommodate you. When you make an ADR just tell them that your DH is a vegetarian and they will note it on your reservation. Then remind them at the podium when you check in and all should be well!
I love 'Ohana. Haven't been there in a long time! Now I am thinking about it
