VEgetarian meals at CS question.

I will be traveling with a friend who is a vegetarian on my November trip. I was looking at the CS menus at AK and frankly they stink for vegetarians! There is one vegiburger at Restaurantosaurus and a cheese pizza at Pizzafari. Do they offer anything else that isn't on the menu? Any advice would be welcome.

As a veggie who has looked at the menus, I decided that food at AK will have to be Tusker House, b/c it sounds incredibly delicious. No counter service when we go to AK!

That's what I was afraid of. I sent her links to the menus to see what she has to say about them. We are eating a big meal that night (Crystal Palace) after visiting AK so we don't want to eat big anyway but still. I hope we can think of something. Good grief.

Hey there! I am a vegetarian and noticed the same thing when we were there in March! We ended up just going back to the Poly and getting a late lunch there at Captain Cooks.

There is fresh fruit available in the park also consider getting something at the resort before you head out for AK. Either a hearty breakfast or something from the grab & go if those items won't work. (I too am vegetarian). We ate breakfast at the resort, ice cream in the park then loved dinner at Boma!

A veggie burger, pizza, fries aren't too bad, especially when Crystal Palace awaits you!

How are the veggie burgers? What is your opinion on them? My friend is so easy going she won't say a word so I want to be sure they are decent before she belllies up to the bar. If they are horrid I won't even put her in that spot.

I haven't had Restaurantosaurus's burgers, but one at Rosie's in the Studios. It was huge and quite tasty. I would ask, though, if the fries are vegetarian. I think that place is basically a McDonald's and their fries aren't veggie. Yes, there are snacks to be had in AK.

Thanks! She does eat fries and I didn't see her ask about them. Not sure how she feels about that. I know she will not eat meat though. I will give her a head's up to be sure.
