Do you need to let them know ahead of time if one of the members of your group is a vegetarian or do the restaurants offer something on the menu? I was not sure if we had to mention something when we make our reservations like we do for preferred seating. Thank You!:)

If I remember correctly from May, there were vegetarian selections on every menu. And if you don't see something you like, you can always ask for something that's not on the menu and often get it.

we sailed this past july and my oldest daughter is a vegetarien and each night if she didn't like the selection being offered in the veg. menu our server had something prepared especially for her. her dinners looked so good us meat eating people were thinking of becoming vegetariens . they even go as far to inform you of certain ingredients in soups, my daughter was all set to order the cream of mushroom soup and our server told her it had chicken stock in it.

This is one thing we LOVE about the DCL. We are vegetarians, but every night there was at least two options (sometimes the regular main courses were fine for us, but we are lacto-ovo vegetarians).

The only place we had problems (and this was 2 years ago, so it may be different now) was at Topsiders for dinner. They didn't have a veggie option on their menu for dinner (lunch was fine), but they made up something for us (but it took a LONG time for us to get our dinner). I am hoping that has changed because we may want to dine there one night if there is a movie we want to see.
