With Tusker House going to TS, is the only vegetarian CS at AK the cheese pizza at Pizzafari? Does anyone know if Yak and Yeti will have a veggie option?

I don't know about Yak n Yeti but restaurantsaurus have a veggie burger that my DH enjoyed.

Flame Tree has a salad. I had it a couple of weeks ago, it comes with the dressing already on it. If you are on DDP you also get a side with it.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that anywhere you can order a regular burger, they can make a veggie burger as well (if you request). I have done so successfully many times at Sci-Fi in particular. I hope that helps...

Maybe the animals won't mind sharing some of their browse with you :rotfl2:

But the only place for burgers is Restaurantosaurus--they do have a veggie burger on the menu.

Pizzafari has cheese pizza and the stuff on the kids' menu there should be okay. Harambe Fruit Market has enough veggie food that it might work too. Flame Tree pretty much just has rabbit food: salad and fruit.

As for Yak and Yeti, no menus out yet. Hopefully, it'll have good Asian CS options for vegetarians.

Sheesh. For a park that loves animals, they sure want you to eat them!

Not sure how strict a veg you are, but I wouldn't definitively call the cheese pizza vegetarian. I doubt they could tell you what type of rennet is in the cheese. I haven't met many at WDW who even know what that is.

And AKL's TS' are so veggie friendly it really is a mind blowing contradiction.

Yeah, it's really weird- the other parks have so many great, varied options. Just seems like salad, veggie burgers and cheese pizza are so mundane. Not that I'd have a problem eating them (especially if I have other options every other day of the trip), but it just seems so out of the ordinary for Disney. I miss the veggie sandwich that Tusker House used to have!
