Yikes...DH and I decided this weekend to take a 9 night trip to WDW at the end of January! The free dining promotion last fall did it's job and we're electing to do the dining plan this time. Anyhow...I'm going crazy trying to figure out where to make our ADRs!!!

So here is my first of probably many questions in the next couple of days. What do they serve vegetarians at O'hanas? I have an ADR for one evening, but I'm not quite sure if I'm going to keep it or not. Are the wontons just fried wonton shells or is there meat in them? While I'm asking, do kids under 3 eat free? Do they bring them out anything special (I'm only asking because CRT lunch brought my DD a plate of buttered noodles last September...she was more interested in those noodles than the princesses :rotfl: )?

Thanks!

The salad would be fine -- and it is good. The fried wonton shells are just that -- with a dusting of salt. No meat. I'm not sure if the dipping sauces would be ok; at least one of them should be, but I'd ask to be sure. The peanut one was great, but strong.

The appetizer is chicken wings and shrimp, then potatoes, vegies (which none of our group liked -- they had a weird flavor), and lots and lots of meat (sirloin steak, turkey, pork, and sausage). Personally, I'd think this restaurant would be a poor choice for a vegetarian. Garden Grill would be a good choice -- the vegies there are FANTASTIC! [Squash, baby carrots, green beans, potatoes -- again lots of meat, but much better choice for vegies).

They made veggie tempura but it was really greasy and soggy. Good thing that my friends had ordered a frou frou adult beverage for my birthday and that took my mind off dinner, along with watching Wishes from the restaurant!!!

Overall, there wasn't much. We really went for the 3 yo to enjoy the place, and she certainly did!!!

Garden Grill will do a mushroom ravioli in tomato sauce which is not on the menu, but a veggie offering if you request it.

hope that helps!!
