Vegetarian at Garden Grill

My mom and youngest dd are interested in eating at Garden Grill in August. I am the only vegetarian in the group (5 of us total). Does anyone have experience with what I might get there?

My family just visited the Garden Grill last month and I am also a vegetarian. Make sure you note it on your ADR's that you are a vegetarian and mention it to your server. The salad they normally serve has a vinaigrette dressing and bacon, make sure you get your salad without the bacon. I didn't have to ask my server, she noted that I was a vegetarian and was VERY good about making sure everything that was served to me was meat free, but I find it helpful to mention it to some servers. Also the vegetables they serve normally has bacon in it as well.

The actual vegetarian meal is basically pearl cous cous with vegetables. I thought it was good, but in all honesty I ate more of the salad. It was just so fresh and tasty that I must have had three servings of it. Loved it!

Overall the meal was very good and the character interaction was the best of our trip. We had so much fun and are planning on going back next year.

Thanks for your response HunnyJar. Were the veggies with the cous cous the same as the regular meal veggies just without the bacon? Do you happen to have a picture?

No, the vegetables with cous cous is completely different and they serve it as your own plate rather than the family platter with the meats on it. And the vegetables on the side is in its own little bowl. The vegetable side was a mix of vegetables that had brussel sprouts in it. I normally HATE brussel sprouts, but this was REALLY good. Especially for brussel sprouts.

Sorry, no pictures of the food! I was too busy taking pictures of my daughter with the characters - it was her 1st birthday!

When I went 2 years ago they had a ratatouille there for me. It was so good! Dh and Dd loved the platter of food and I loved what they had made for me. I did note it on the ADR when I called. We also had the BEST character interaction there!

This is what I had in December 2008. I'm not sure if this is what they still serve but it sounds similar to the description given by the poster above. I really enjoyed it.
