Anybody got a good Vegas hotel discount code? Looking to stay on the strip in a nicer hotel. This is an adults only trip for my wife and I without the kids! So circus circus is Out! I can book the Monte Carlo for 180 a night but was hoping for a little less. Trip is nov 3-6. Celebrating 9 years of marriage. Thanks

Go to fatwallet.com
They have a travel forum with a thread dedicated to Las Vegas hotel codes.
$180 per night at the Monte Carlo is highway robbery - unless there's a huge convention going on that week/end.

Also see the Las Vegas board right here on the DIS, in the California and the West section.

eta: okay, there's something going on, either a rodeo or the CES. T
Cheapest Strip hotel after Circus Circus is the Stratosphere at more than double its normal rate.

The SEMA convention is happening for the dates you're looking at. It's a huge convention that draws over 100,000 people. So I highly, highly doubt you're going to find anything cheaper on the strip for your dates. I would grab what you can, because I suspect the prices are only going to go up.

Sign up for smart vegas.com and they will send you unpublished deals. Check the hotel web sites too. Harrahs, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Paris all have a hot deals section and you might find a good price directly with them. Good luck!:upsidedow

When we go, I usually go to vegas.com and look at all the deals and then pick the one that best suits us. This did take quite a bit of time to sort through them all and find the one best for us.

On our last trip we stayed at MGM and got the room for an okay price, $80/night, but that also included a $50 dining credit, two drink credits and $50 free slot play (which is way more than we would have ever done on our own).

I also read the forums for Las Vegas on tripadvisor.com Word on that site is that fatwallet is not the way to go anymore but smartvegas is current and up to date. There is a lot of useful info on that sight.

Check out lasvegasadvisor.com Free to sign up and they have all the hotel discount codes. I found the "Vegas Partyscape Package" at the Luxor for $160/$100/$135 for your 3 nights. Don't forget that some hotels charge "resort" fees. Good luck.

Just a reminder that the MGM properties(that includes Monte Carlo) has a $20/night resort fee. So make sure you are comparing apples to apples on rates. Harrah's properties do not have a resort fee.

Have you been before? Call the number listed on the back of your players club cards and see what kind of rate they will give you. My friends and I almost always get better rates from calling.

Have fun and happy anniversary!

Definitely, or can you change your dates?

Monte Carlo is never worth that much, other than during huge conventions. Supply and demand. Their pool area is one of the best but their rooms are like a Holiday Inn.

If you can go a different time, you will find MUCH better choices at much better rates!
