Vegas Themed Party.. Help Needed

hi there.. well on Friday my son is going to a Sweet 16 Vegas Style Birthday Party... I was wondering what should he wear?? He is debating if he even wants to go because even though he will know just about everyone attending.. he knows nothing of Vegas Style.. DH and I explained to him about different people and dress codes.. DS said maybe he'll wear a suit with fake money hanging out of his pockets..

anyone else have children attending themed parties??

If it wouldn't make him too self-conscious, have him go as Sigfried with a plush white tiger. Maybe he could try dressing up as Wayne Newton or 70's Elvis.

Ohhhh, he can have so much fun with this!

He could wear dress slacks and a shirt with a vest and be the Casino dealer. If you have an old garter, have him wear that on his arm with either money or cards stuck in it.

Olena's suggestion of Sigfried is a great one!

He could wear a loud Hawaiian shirt and khakis and be the goofy out-of-town vacationer....

Spinning off of another of Olena's suggestions - have him be a Lounge Lizard performer! Do you have a Spencer's nearby? Get him a big old floppy hat (fake zebra or loud orange, etc.) - preferably with a long feather dangling from it, stop by the Thrift Store and get some outrageous shirts and pants. Buy him a plastic microphone.
