I am headed to Vegas for the very first time ever in two days!! In an effort to save some money I am hoping to use some Restaurant.com certificates.

I see lots of places listed in Vegas, but does anyone have any suggestions? ( it would be even better if the restaurant you suggest have a coupon available on Resturants.com

Thanks!

We went to Vegas for the first time late May. I used living social and groupon for discounts at restaurants and for shows.

There are also tons of coupon books floating around when you get to the strip and the hotels.

Ohh and look at travelzoo Vegas local attractions or something like that. There are usually show discounts as well as more places to eat.

I just saw a groupon for the Burger Bar at Harrah's I wanted to try that place last time we were there Can't think of the name of it.

Most of the restaurants on Restaurant.com for Las Vegas right now are not located on the strip. If you have a car and are willing to venture out, you'll find some deals and good food at these places. However, if your staying on the strip without a car, taxi fares to these places can be higher than just having a great meal on the strip.

If you can post where you are staying, I'm sure you'll get some great food suggestions.

We are staying at a Summer Bay (Or Summer Breeze) which is a Holiday Inn Timeshare right off the stip. We will have a rental car. I was hoping for restaurants that were in the strip and even within casinos.

We bought certificates for Fresh Grill and Bar. They are located in the mall in Planet Hollywood. Food was great. And tons of it. Also try the buffet at Sam's Town (get the players card and you'll get a discount on it). Take the free shuttle from Harrah's out to Sam's Town and then from Sam's you can take free shuttle to Freemont Street.

The buffet at the Wynn is FANTASTIC and by far the best in Vegas!
The buffet at the Bellagio is just so so.

If you google Best places to eat in las vegas, a list of choices with locations will come up.

Buffets at the Wynn, Belllagio, Cosmopolitan and Bacchanal Buffet (Caesars) make all the top ten lists and are on almost all the top 5 lists.

Top buffets on the less expensive list include Cravings (Mirage) on the strip. Buffet at the Red Rock Casino is an exceptional value for the money. Only makes sense if you have a car. Makes a lot of sense if you have a car and want to spend time at Red Rock.

Vegas is the best!! So much to see and do. I realize you're trying to save some $$, but just about every great chef in the world has a restaurant in Vegas - if you have any $$ to splurge, I'd at least have some apps at as many as you can. Have fun!!

When we go out to Las Vegas, we usually have one thing we splurge on. The last time we went out we decided to go to Top Of The World to eat. It is a (slowly) rotating restaurant at the top of the Stratosphere. Check it out.

Get the American Casino Guide 2013. It is FULL of great coupons for Las Vegas! Restaurant, Casino, and Attractions!

As for Restaurant.com, the only restaurant I can think of is always sold out : Stripburger. DELICIOUS!!

And sign up for the email club. They *were* (don't know if they still are) giving away B1G1 coupons - if you are staying on the Strip, you want this location.

We ate at Stripburger using a certificate a couple of years ago. It was very good...but expensive, so it was nice to have the cert to use.

The 2 certs I have bought on Restaurant.com was Strip Burger and T&T(Tacos & Tequilla) in the Luxor. Both places were really good. They are both on the strip.

We stayed at The Palazzo back in August and I'm already planning my next trip. We have been about 15 times in the past few years. I like Vegas as much as Disney.

Food on the strip is expensive sometimes, but it is so worth it. Just about every hotel has a buffet...Wynn, Caesars, and Bellagio being the most expensive. However, Treasure Island, Planet Hollywood and The Mirage have good, affordable buffets. Either one of those are great for breakfast because they're pretty cheap, have great selection and you get alot of food.

The Fashion Show Mall across from Wynn has some great, reasonably priced choices too. They have StripBurger like someone mentioned, a new Taco place and Maggiano's which is good Italian. Portions tend to be larger in Vegas too. So you may think about sharing with someone if you can. That way, you can experience more.

There is also an awesome vintage diner about a block from Wynn/Encore called The Peppermill. It's still old school Vegas...neon, Formica tables and vinyl booths. Great food and HUGE portions.

I can go on and on about Vegas. With it being your first visit, your going to be on sensory overload. There is so much to see.

Another vote for Tacos & Tequila in the Luxor. With the Restaurant.com certificates, it's a good deal and I love the food.
