Anybody know where the best board is for a Las Vegas vacation? We've never been but DH wants to go. The sooner we go and get back the sooner it is MY TURN AGAIN to pick vacation!!! Guess you can guess where that's gonna be!

Thanks for any help, I really would like to make it organized and fun.

Hmmm I was born and raised in Las Vegas. I have not heard of any forums in particular because usually when we travel there, we go to just visit family like in any other normal town...just happens to be Vegas! LOL

If I had any recommendations though (we are not gamblers or drinkers---so it may be different than most people who travel to vegas....) I know I would definitely love to see one of the Cirque du Soleil shows there. I know there is a water one called "O" that I would love to see. It is at the Bellagio...beautiful hotel!!! Probably a little pricey though...

Also, we love looking around at the different themed hotels, New York, Paris, italian, medieval, egyptian, greek, pirate, they have them all! LOL And each one has different shows/attractions that you can do while in each one. The Forum shops at Caesar's Palace is really fun and cool to wander around in! I know what you mean about rather going to Disney. That would be my choice too!

It is a lot like the disboard but not as family friendly. It has lots of info and links to other sites as well.
We usually take two trips per year--one to LV and one to WDW. Same as you, husband loves LV and I love WDW. The good thing is though that we both really enjoy both places, so we look forward to going to both places. Enjoy your trip.

That Lasvegastalk.com looks awesome. I've been to Vegas quite a few times and thought I found all the web sites......NOT. Vegas.com is good and thelasvegasadvisor.com as someone mentioned is very good. Plenty of info on all!!

Cheapovegas.com is my favorite Vegas web site. Casino Boy has candid and detailed reviews and ratings of all the hotels......from the palaces to the dumps!

My favorite review is of the Western......Las Vegas on $19 a day!

There is always usenet. Unmoderated, spam filled, hate and curse filled, lots of petty personal feuds and inside jokes. But if you can get past all that, great information - most of which is easily searchable view google.

PS - For what it's worth, if you have specific questions, this forum is probably as good if not better than a Vegas-specific forum. A *lot* of Disers go to Vegas.
