Vegas AP Holders

Do many people from Vegas have Annual Passes for DL? I just officially accepted my transfer to Vegas from Tempe and will actually be out there in 2 weeks working in the Forum Shops at Ceasars.

I was originally thinking of a trip to DL with my tax money before the move came into view, so now I was thinking that it might be more worthwhile to get an AP and try to make a few trips a year to be able to see DL during all the different seasons.

Just wondering if many people make the trek there. Do you drive or fly? How long does it take? Anything else I should think about?

I lived in LV, NV from 1997-2003 and made the drive to southern CA a few times. We took two trips to Legoland and one to DL. If I remember correctly, it was about a 3 hour drive to get there from LV.
