Vegan dining on the Wonder

Hello all! I have been avidly reading any post I can find with mentions of vegan dining on DCL, but was wondering if anybody had recent experience (since the dry dock) with vegan dining on the Wonder.

My family and I will be setting sail in August for our very first cruise!

Vegetarian was much easier for me. Vegan is a little more challenging on the ship without limiting yourself so much.

I can't speak to a particular ship but I've been tablemates on 2 cruises with people who had special requests. Both times, the staff did a great job finding options for them. After a few nights, they would just bring out their special items.

It can depend on a lot of things such as how much variety you are trying to get versus the ingredients they have available. How much the chefs know recipe wise for particular diets. It can depend on your serving team. Sometimes you get servers who don't really understand the request or are lazy. If you have an issue with the serving team, you can check with the head server for your section to see if it can be straightened out.

But that's why it would be great to get recent ship specific intel, and find out if there's a serving team who does a better job.

That being said, I'm not picky, and I'm not going for the food, so I'll go with the flow.

I'm sailing to Alaska on the Wonder with my vegan sister in law in July. Get back to me then and I'll let you know! Husband and his parents are vegetarian, and that's always been super easy to accommodate. Hoping vegan won't be too difficult, but as you know, it is another level.
