Vegan and Vegetarian Going to WDW

Hi all -

I'm new to the DIS boards, but not new to WDW. My girlfriend (vegetarian) and I (vegan) are going this sunday!!! and I wanted to see if any of you had any experiences with vegan at WDW.

I've already called way in advance and just reconfirmed with my restaurants about my dietary needs.

Just wondering what all your experiences have been?

Sorry, no experience with vegan, but my DH is vegetarian. Where there was no veggie option on the menu, the chef came out to meet with him to discuss what he'd like to eat and were very accomadating. I'm sure it will be the same for vegan meals.

My DH is a Vegetarian. At various restaurants Disney will make provisions in their menu with prior knowledge. The only one I remember clearly was chef Mickeys. They ordered Turkey Sausage for us (all of their meats were pork). I would direct you to allearsnet.com but their site is down right now. They have a very clear guide that has which restaurants will make provisions for you. I usually have that info downloaded on my laptop but of course this is the one year (in 8 years) we are not going to Disney so it’s not on my computer. Keep checking allearsnet, I can't imagine that site down for long, it’s likely a server issue
