VDH Questions for Purchasing

I think it will be a while before VDH sell out. You can always choose to sell BLT down the road and buy more VDH if that’s where your heart is. Just lock in your blue card for now. 740 points is a LOT of points to enjoy.

She hasn’t even been to Aulani yet!

We wanted a bucket of direct points to be able to use. We also have 200 direct June Grand Cali and love it too. We might buy another 100-150 or so resale that match June at some point someday. We have 520 at Aulani to be able to do every 12-18 month trips in 1 or 2 bedrooms. We love Grand Cali over Christmas this year in a 1 bedroom and Aulani for New Years. With the summer weather in California, western DVC definitely has its benefits. Aulani was beautiful as was Hawaii once again.

After all the reading up to this point, I vote 150 VDH, use the points for yourself, plan on buying the 24 OTUP each year that you're running low.
If you sell off a contract, pick up another small VDH. Only do that after you sell a contract, though. Happy wife= Happy life

Ok so my final decision before I lose my mind is that *for now* my guide is hopefully going to email me back tomorrow, were going to change poly to vdh, im going to tell her I don't want MB because if not ill feel deprived that I didn't get 200 points and did MB, I already know how i am.

Im going to book a bomb a$$ one bedroom or garden studio for my welcome home stay, hopefully Valentines day or our anniversary, and im going to love every second of my amazing Disney life

Im also going to buy MB and use every otup point i can

Oh and im not going to dump poor blt for hot new VDH... yet. She best step it up tho or im out! LSL is just around the Riverbend

Dont be surprised to see me sell blt for aulani one day

Aulani is an absolutely gorgeous resort. You being west coast would be a huge advantage. We have to fly from the Midwest so it makes things a long travel trip. We had about 9 flight hours getting home with a connection in PHX. The stop at DL works well to break up the trip there for sure.

I have no idea i emailed and called her and she didnt answer. I just told her on the email and vm that we were talking about it a lot and how much we enjoyed vdh and we decided it made more sense for us to buy there and I was hoping it wouldnt be an issue to switching.

Im a little worried because a regional manager had to approve me doing some things before my one year anniversary so I hope its not an issue to switch, I dont see why it would be. I am totally set on vdh now, I would probably pull out if she said no at this point and wait the two months.

I thought it was weird because they usually have an out of the office automated message when theyre not in and she didnt so thats why im worried that she ditched me

i know the 200 isnt smart for me. My wife keeps bringing up that she wants to go to big bear and other places besides Disney. I wish she would stop.
