VCR's in WLV Studio?

Are ther VCR's in the studios at WLV? Thanks

Every DVC resort 1 and 2 bedrooms have VCR's - Except BCV 1 and 2 bedrooms, they have DVD players instead of VCR's. Studios have neither.

This may be incorrect, but I remember reading that VWL has video casette players (they don't record).

That has to be confirmed from a member who has stayed there - you may be right. The DVC web page states the 1 & 2 Bedrooms have VCR's - Maybe they are really VCP's.

There was NOT a VCR in our VWL studio in March.

Studios never did have VCRs since the beginning. I'm sure it was a cost issue along with a logistics one (where to put the VCR, where to put the wires, etc.).

Stayed in a dedicated 2BR - VCPlayer (not a Recorder!)

If the official site says your gonna get a VCR, you expect a Video Casette Recorder - not a VCP, Video Casette Player. So much for "Recording" the playoffs.

We were traveling with my sister - started out at OKW for 5 days, then switched to VWL for 7 days. She's a big soap opera nut and was taping her shows everyday to watch at night. Fine at OKW - not possible at VWL with the VCP.
Tried to get a VCR, but wasn't successful. Housekeeping there was a bit unresponsive to say the least. I was going to try calling OKW to see if I could have them send one over, but decided it wasn't worth the aggravation.

We're traveling with same sister this year and are trying the BCV (we have to try all the DVC properties at least once, even though we own at and really prefer OKW).

Another problem - they have DVD players - still can't tape the shows! So, my sister is bringing her VCR with her!
I certainly hope that OKW does not switch to DVD players - even when my sister doesn't come with us, I usually tape a few shows when I'm there - especially the resort TV channels (I have a tape of the resort channel for each of the 11 years we've been DVC members - it's great to watch when you need a "fix"!)
