VB Yearly Weather?

I am SO in love with Vero Beach!!! We have never been, but looking at the pictures reminds me of the resort in the movie Dirty Dancing. We just bought and I am obsessed with planning a trip there. I have a feeling I'll have to add on there!! lol~

Anyway, I was wandering if anyone knows the weather patterns there? What months it's starts to get too cool to swim and then again when it starts to get warm enough to swim.... We have 2 or 3 breaks during the kids school year and just trying to figure if those would be enjoyable times to go down.

Too cold to swim.... LOL if you are from the north (MA) it is never too cold to swim there! The water temps in Feb anyway are in the mid 70's which #1 feels downright balmy coming from freezing temps and #2 mid 70's is warmer than the water temps in MA in the hight of summer!

As far as adding on ..... YUP I bet you will..... that is what happened to us!

Hmmm... I'm from Virginia and really am an ocean warrior, but I think the Feb ocean temps are a bit chilly and under 70. I've been to VB in March and was the only one in the ocean. Kind of creeped me out... one big piece of shark bait.

I would suggest May through November if you want to take advantage of the ocean. If you are in love with VB now.. just wait. Especially with kids.
