Hi,

Does anyone know if any of the Studios at VB is available with 2 beds vs 1 bed and a sleep sofa? How comfortable are the sleep sofa's? My 2 teens will be sleeping on it.

Thanks,

Well,

The actual studios have a queen and a pull out sofa but at VB they often interchange studios with garden view inn rooms which have 2 queens.

MIL had a studio booked last October and she was in what is considered the garden view inn romm which had the bed set up that you want.

Maybe you can just request that you be put in the main inn. I know they won't guarantee anything.

Do you want to be in the main inn or are you wanting a studio that is in the villas?

This is our 1st time to VB so I don't really know whether we would prefer to be in the inn or by the villas. What are the pro's and con's to each? Our teens are 13 and 15.

thanks!

We always stay in the inn but we get an ocean view room. We have to be able to look at the ocean while we are there. We just love it.

We love the size of the rooms and it has everything we need. I don't cook on vacation so we don't need the kitchen. We just run up to the 4th floor to do laundry.

There is no guarantee of a view with the studios and if you get put in the inn because there are no studios left in the villas section then you will have a garden view.

Have you thought about booking an ocean view inn room? Aren't they the same amount of points as a studio?

I did not like my MIL's room that she had last October. It was on the 2nd floor of the inn, a corner room. She had a view of a roof and some air conditioning units.

You will get suggestions either way. Most people who favor the villas section stay in 1 and 2 br's. Honestly, if I had a studio booked I'd opt for the inn ocean view room.

We like it because we just have to run downstairs if we need something-we have little ones-I don't think this would be as big of a deal with teenagers.

So, if this is your first time to VB and you want to be awed by the ocean, go for the inn ocean view room if you can get it. If you decide to stay with a studio I guess I would try and get somethig in the villas rather than in the inn-I can't imagine staying in the inn without looking out at the ocean.

Good luck with your planning and ask more questions if you have them. Myself and others will be glad to answer.

Thanks for the info. It sounds as if we are one in the same.....we both love the view of the ocean:D I'm calling right now to see if I can get the ressies changed. We really did want a 1 bdrm but they were completed booked.

thanks again,
Melissa
