I was at VB a couple weeks ago. In the lobby you will find menus from many local restaurants.
Here are my restaurant reviews:
The Ocean Grill - A great place for wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. The location is right on the water so there is a lovely view of the beach. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in rustic dark wood, stained glass and historic pictures. Each night there are specials offered, from appetizers to dessert. There is also a standard menu. I had a blue crab soup to start. It was a tomato based soup with lots of vegetables and crab pieces. For an entree I had fried oysters with sides of pecan rice and salad (you select two sides). The oysters were large, juicy and coated in a crisp, golden brown crust and served with fresh lemon and cocktail sauce. My salad dressing was the Dill dressing and very yummy! Dinner also comes with a basket of crackers, blue cheese dip, fresh sour dough bread (excellent) and whipped butter. For dessert you select from a tray and I chose warm pecan pie ala mode. You can't beat this place.
Capt. Hiram's - I had a late lunch here one afternoon. The place is right on the harborfront. There is an indoor eating area and an outdoor bar plus dining tables (or surfboards in some spots). The servers were prompt and friendly. The place has a tropical feel, although smaller than I imagined from their website. I had a fried crabcake sandwich, served with a pickle, potato chips and cole slaw. The crabcake was excellent and a good size and the sauce they served with it was very good. My drink, a Rum Runner, was strong with its float of 151 rum.

I also got a 10% discount after taking one of their daily nature cruises.
Almost forgot dessert - I had a slice of Derby pie. Nice, warm, very chocolatey pie like a huge piece of just baked fudgy brownie with nuts served with whipped cream.
Manatiki - This is a nice, casual place located right at the boat docks in Fort Pierce, close to the Manatee Education Center. They have outdoor, barside and indoor dining. I had a fried oyster plate (my favorite) served with cole slaw and sweet potato fries (you have your choice of fries). The oysters were the standard fish house variety (not the Ocean Grill type) but very tasty and numerous. The fries were very good too. I had an iced tea, about a half gallon worth it seemed. Service was friendly and prompt. If you are visting this area you might want to check it out.
Sonya's - I had two buffets there, the Sunday brunch and the Seafood Buffet. The Sunday brunch featured fresh muffins, custom made omelets, cheese blitzes, salads, cheeses, sushi, entrees of fish, chicken, beef and pasta plus a selection of desserts. Brunch was served with either a glass of Champagne, a mimosa or a bloody Mary. Very good.
The Seafood buffet had fresh breads, a soup, salads, cheeses, sushi, crab legs, lobster cakes, popcorn shrimp, fish filets with fruit salsas, linguine with clam sauce, scallops, etc. They also had mac & cheese. Desserts featured fruit cobbler, fresh fruits and pastries. It was good.
