VB Resort Configuration

I know Doc has posted resort configs for most of the resorts but I can't find one for VB. We want to get a 2 bdrm or a 1 bdrm w/lock off that has some sort of ocean view. Last time we stayed there in a 2 bdrm we had one by the parking lot which soured my wife on 2 bdrms there. I told her they had to have better locations available but she is still worried. Her family is comming from Calif. and Colorado so she wants it to be perfect. Does anybody know the resorts config or which 2 bdrm or 1 bdrm lock off would be on the ocean side and or with an ocean view.

Ask for a 2 bedroom lock off. I believe they are on the side that faces the ocean. The dedicated 2 bedrooms are on the highway side.

None of the 1BR or 2BR really have a direct ocean view - to get a direct ocean view you would need to stay in a Beach Cottage or in the Inn in an Ocean View Room

We have stayed there a number of times and the room types seem to be somewhat random - maybe you can make a request to have the 2BR on the East Side but between the Beach Cottages and trees etc. there are no really good ocean views from the buildings

There are very nice ocean views from the third floor rooms of the villas as long as you are facing the ocean. Getting one is a long shot as there are very few of them. If you want a guaranteed ocean view, yes, you would need to request a beach cottage or an ocean view inn room, but if you request a lock off 2 bedroom on the third floor facing the ocean and are lucky enough to get it, you will have an ocean view.

We have stayed at Vero many times and have been lucky to get very nice ocean views in both 1 and 2 (lock off) bedrooms that were on the third floor, especially in building 12.
