VB or HH -Please Help me Decide

I realize this probably boils down to personal preference but....

We are planning our next trip (next spring/summer) with a 3 y/o and a 1 y/o. Considering the young ages of our kids I though a DVC trip to HH or VB might be in order (or less stressful). I just can't make up my mind between the two resorts-suggestions -comments -please

Well, deciding between HHI and VBR is much different than deciding between SSR and OKW (for example). VBR is in Florida and HHI is in South Carolina. It depends on where you live and/or what you want to do on vacation........

With the ages of your children, you might prefer Vero. It is easy to just snag lounge chairs in the morning and kind of use the pool as a base for all the other activities. The crafts, mini golf, restaurants and beach are all right there. It made for a very relaxing vacation for us. We love HHI just as much, but with 2 toddlers it might be harder to pack them up to go to the beach, out to dinner,etc. The crafts at Community Hall are located by HHI pool,too. You can't go wrong either way!

I been to both and love them both...

I would vote VB in this case though... The resort is more compact and everything is centered around the Inn building... Getting to the beach is not a big deal, and there are two restaurants and a bar onsite..

At HHI, the resort is laid out a little differently.. The inn building is in the front.. Pool area / Community Hall / Pier is a little further back.. There is counter service by the pool, but no sit down restaurants.. (No onsite bar, but one at the beach house.) The beach and beach house are about a mile away..

VB has a character b'fast with Goofy and Max. HHI doesn't have characters, unless you count Shadow and B'lou Crabby.

The HHI "Little Dipper" kiddie pool is less turbulant... The water is about 8 inches deep. At VB, the kiddie pool area has a pirate ship, water canons, and a 4 ft. slide.. VB's pool might be a little too active for a toddler...

I vote for VB just don't go in August... I don't want any more competition for rooms than I have too!
