We want to spend 2 days at Vero and are wondering what the difference is between the Inn rooms with ocean view and the studios? The points are the same and it looks like the room layouts are the same. Do all studios have an ocean view? Thanks for your help.:)

Studios are considered to be "ocean-side" and may not have an ocean view - in fact very few of the studio, 1BR or 2BR units actually have what most would consider an ocean view. Some of the units do have a view, some only have a view from the balcony, some no view at all (for example, those on the ground floor have mainly a vew of the vegitation).

Ocean view inn rooms though are supposed to have an ocean view (though I've seen a report from a member on this board that the view they got one time wasn't all that great - but they were able to move the next day).

The other major difference is that Inn rooms will have 2 beds, where studios have a bed and a fold-out couch.

if you want to be assuered of an ocean view, the Inn room is the best way to go. Next best would be a studio on an upper floor.

I would def. get an inn room for multiple reasons: If you want a view of the ocean, your chances are much better, the layout seems much more roomy, and the washer/dryer are in the inn (top floor). We have gone to Vero 3x, so far, and have been much happier with the inn rooms. Ask for a room on the upper floors (we had 2220, once, and that was a nice room, but just barely saw the ocean over the vegetation). If it's not really crowded, the C.M. have been really good about switching room assignments.

Thanks Spedtcr! I just called MS and unfortunately they didn't have any ocean view inn rooms left for the days we needed. :( I did go ahead and book a studio though and hopefully we'll get a view. Any recs on specifc studios to request?

I would ask for a studio on the third floor, second floor would be the second option. You can request an ocean view when you do this, but that's going to be a roll of the dice.

We've not stayed in an Inn room, but we have stayed in a studio on the first floor - very dark.

From here on out, it's 2BR units on an upper floor - they are simply the best, no matter what the view. Though we dream one day of being able to get a beach cottage.
