Does anyone know anything about a new incentive at vb?I read on another board something about selling back points for 15.00 and that going as part of the down payment. If anyone knows anything about this please explain it to me.Thanks

I just visited with dvc today about an add on at HH. I had already gotten my name on the list or whatever you call it before the 1st of June so as to have locked the price in at $75 instead of the $80 after the 1st of June and since they are sold out of my use year at HH, they were trying to entice me to VB and the buyback is $15 making the purchase price $60. Have not been to VB and I'm not so sure of it, but the $60 with no closing cost seems good.

I don't believe you are able to use MB as a downpayment any longer. I don't believe you can use it anywhere instead of a downpayment. They used to require that $500 be out of your pocket, now it is higher.

I am not exactly sure of the numbers, but I beleve they want 10% out of you pocket, if MB adds another 10%, you will get the 20% down interest rate, but you can't use MB for the first 10% down.

Somebody is tightening up on their credit requirements.

If someone has more exact information, please correct me, but I am pretty sure I am close to the present guidelines.

$60 is a good price, but it is $65 now that points have gone to $80, but even $50 is not a good price if you plan to buy VB points mainly for use at WDW resorts. If the purpose is mainly WDW DVC resorts, a resale at an on site resort would be a better move. If they are mainly intended for stays at VB, then its a very enticing offer....but also, remember, VB points are about the cheapest for resale and I think the buyback for VB points is going to be VERY low. I think you can make some very far below asking price offers on VB resales.
