VB family vacation - day 7

The Players
DH - loves Disney 33
Me - also loves Disney 32 - first trip without our 8 month old little boy who is with his granparents.

Day 7.
Didn't go to the parks - guess where we were???? Yes, the pool!! All day long! Slept until 10am!!! (keep in mind we're not used to any kind of full nights sleep with an infant at home!)Had leftover Rainforest for lunch. Bought beer in the gift shop to take to the pool (cheaper). Back to room at 4pm

Went to Portabello yacht Club for dinner at Downtown Disney. Food was good - service not so much. I really think sometimes if you don't order drinks you get treated not so great. They were totally dead, but this guy seemed a tad put out to refill my water. Not impressed. Bought the stuff we needed to buy. Then to Ghiradellis - had a "foghorn" sundae - Yum!! DH had a "cable car"


Back to the room to pack - leave early the next day! Sad to leave, but excited to see DS

This attitude always amazes me. As a former waitress I know what they are thinking.............bigger tab = bigger tip. I homeschool my girls so when we go out during the week it's me, 10yodd, 7yodd and 22mnth dd. If we hit any of the "business" lunch places our service is hit or miss. They figure (kids=mess, smaller check and stingy mom.) Sadly, I am a big tipper and always do at least 20%, sometimes more, when I'm with the kids. I have seen many folks save their $ for all the drinks and desserts they are buying and stiff the tip. Don't judge a book and all that.
