The cast: Hpygrll - 31, pregnant (hindered some rides, but not the fun)
DH - 32, loves Disney!
Mom - 64
Dad - 67

Met at 9:30 am - the bus to MGM was just pulling up so we ran to the bus stop! Whew, just made it. That's hard to do for a pregnant woman, let me tell ya! Long lines at MGM to get in due to the security checks! We were glad they were doing it, but wish people wouldn't bring so much stuff to the parks - it would make check throught much easier. But, no big deal. We did have some ticket difficulties. I'm a former CM, so I had complimentary passports. After standing in the huge security line, found out we had to exchange the passports at guest services for other passports. That's new! So back through the security line. It's an adventure I kept saying! We embraced it and moved on! HAHA

So I have to say - I love Who Wants To be a Millionaire - Play it. I can see how this can become highly addictive. I even made it into the top 10 but was never number 1.. Headed for animation tour which is always neat and then to the ABC commissary for lunch. DH and I split a cheeseburger (still full from OHanas). I of course had to have a cookie from the bookstore on New York Street. Those are the best things ever! It must weigh 5 lbs! DH and I each got one and we headed for Muppetvision!!!!

Back to Millionaire (I tell ya, it's totally addicting). DH was number 1 but then the show ended, which is really to his relief as he does not like being in front of large groups of people and he would have probably fainted! But he had a good time reminding us the whole trip, the he was the number 1!!! Yes, dear, we know!!!!

Dad and DH went on Rock 'n Roller coaster and TOT - Little ole pregnant me and Mom sat and people watched. I always find that highly entertaining. Checked out the shops, bought our picture that they had taken when we came in then took the boat to the Yacht Club.

Walked to EPCOT - got there around 2pm. Wandered through some countries but it started looking a little ominious outside so we headed for the Land. Got inside just as it started to pour!!! Rode the boat ride then after rain had stopped so DH and Dad off to Test Track. We knew a CM who gave us passes to go in the exit, so they go right on and off while Mom and I waited.

Headed to England as we had reservations at Rose and Crown at 7pm. We thought the parade went by there like it did last year. Nope. So we went in a little early for dinner. Had a great patio table. Prolonged the meal so we could see Illuminations - kind of fibbed about it being my parents anniversary so they would be more likely to not mind us sitting there (the anniversary was only 3 months off and we really hadn't celebrated it!). Great meal. Had the fruit and cheese appetizer. I had fish and chips, DH and Dad had bangers and mash, Mom had chicken. They brought Mom and Dad champagne since it was their anniversary. DH and I had some lemon cream dessert thing! Delicious!! Illuminations was wonderful as always. We have the cd of the music at home and listen to it all the time. I cry every time I see it!!!!!

To bus - just filling up when we got there. Back in bed by 10pm!!!

A fun Disney day for all. I too love to people watch. Thanks for posting!

Hey neighbor - I'm enjoying your reports. I enjoy sitting and "people watching" too! I'm looking forward to reading more.:bounce:

Good report! I never had one of those cookies from MGM, but they sound good. I'll have to put it on my list for next time. We have a PS for Rose and Crown for our next trip. We're hoping to get to see Illuminations while we eat. Our PS is for 7:30. Were all the lakeside tables gone by that time?

Beth

No, the patio tables really didn't all fill up until after 8pm - but I have found that to be the exception - not the norm as we have done this numerous times in the past. I think 7:30 is the perfect time because you won't have to sit there as long as we did to wait! Thanks for reading!!

People watching may perhaps be the BEST unadvertised attraction!!!:D

can also be had at Seashore Sweets at the BoardWalk, but not next door at the bakery. Isn't that odd? I love them too!
