This may seem like a bizarre question, but here goes...does anyone know if the door openings in the 1 BDR at VB are trimmed with moulding? The reason I am asking is, we are taking our 5 year old daughter and 4 month old baby in 12 days for a much anticipated vacation. We would like to take an apparatus we lovingly refer to as the "jumpy swing"....one of those hanging seats with a giant spring that hang from a door frame and gloriously entertains your child affording the parent the luxury of a few minutes of "free" time.

If you are asking about an interior door, I would assume the doors are trimmed out with a standard residential door casing ( 2-1/4" x 3/4"). I've never been to VB but as an Architect , I would be almost certain these doors would be trimmed. Just a word of caution , be sure to check that the trim is adequately secured to the wall. In some cases , minimal nailing and / or stapling is provided for this trim.

Good Luck

Thanks for the pictures and the advice...I appreciate the tip on checking out the security of the trim (if, in fact, it does exist). I am guessing that they wouldn't skimp on the trim but may just have it "tacked" in place.
