Has anyone been to Vaughan Mills in the past week? We're thinking about going this weekend...thinking may be late Saturday from, say, 5 to 9.

Is it still really busy there? Is it worth the effort, either in terms of pricing or selection?

TIA

Hi, we took our visitors from England there yesterday.

We got there at 2pmish and left at 5:30ish. It was an ok mall, but not one I want to rush back to. The only outstanding thing to see if the Bass Outdoor Store. I would go back again just to explore it. They had live fish in a tank all native to Ontario. Apparently, the Pike keep eating the smaller fish.

Parking is not that great either.

Have fun!

My dad and I can't wait to go and check out the Bass Pro Shops we always go to the one near Belz when we go to WDW. We love the large aquarium filled with fish in the centre of the store.

I haven't been yet but if you hate crowds, I would wait until after the Christmas craze.:)

We went last Thursday right at opening and left at about 1:30. Crowds were fine, parking was fine.

I went there two Fridays ago and had no trouble finding parking. It seems that it's still busy on the weekends and people are having trouble finding parking. I saw a report on Citypulse that some shoppers were parking at a nearby mall and having their cars towed away. I think it cost one person more than $200.

IMO, the mall is nothing special ... the prices aren't that great and none of the stores really had any opening specials or anything like that. Some of the outlet "prices" are far from what I had expected.

Just to give you a few examples ... The Nike Outlet for example had shoes that were prices $79.99 and up. That's nearly the same sale price as any other mall. The Guess Outlet had shirts in the $40-$60 range and jeans for $50. The Benetton Outlet had blazers starting at $100+.

Since the mall is about a 30 minute drive away from my house (using 407 too)... I don't think I would be back anytime soon.

naw its not worth the trip to that mall. I :moped: 1 1/2 hours.. nothing amazing bout the place, except LUSH. Food court look liked any other court.. park wasnt too bad. I went early lunch on friday. Not going back any time soon. Rather go to scarbourough or york dale..

Lush has a store in Yorkville ... I haven't been there so I don't know what it's like but probably has the same selection as Vaughan Mills. :)

I did like the Tommy Hilfiger outlet and the H&M store has different stuff at good prices.
