I'm annoyed at this. She made this awkward for me. I would like her let go. I don't think she should work for Disney.

I know if it were MY daughter, she wouldn't be allowed near a non-movie camera (regular, digicam, or cell phone w/camera) for a long, long time.

I would hope that parents try to not come down too hard on their daughters for mistakes they made years ago.

Somebody also suggested to me that, no matter Vanessa herself says (or her camp), she probably leaked them to gain publicity since she doesn't seem to be AS big a star as Zac Efron or the goofy blonde who plays Sharpay.

Perhaps, but I feel it would be irresponsible to allege something like that without hard proof.

Except that we don't know that SHE specifically broke any rules on her Disney contract. If they were taken before she has hired to do HSM and they were leaked without her consent, then she technically hasn't broken any rules.

I do wish people would realize that anything they do in this age of technology could potentially bite them later. But, kids don't think about consequences as much as they should.

I think the whole situation is sad. A lapse in judgement could ruin this young women's career.

I don't, however, understand those who say they will not let their children watch her in the future because of this. Instead of looking at it as a negative, why not use it as an opportunity to talk to your children about being careful of what they do? After all, half the young ladies in the movies have taken their clothes off at one point or another. Would you let your kids watch a movie staring Anne Hathaway? She took her clothes off in a movie. What about Kiera Knightly? She posed nude for magazines before she ever did POC. I guess I don't understand what one has to do with another.

This girl is over 18. What if she were married? Would you not let your kids watch her because she's had sex? I'm sorry, but I don't get it.

First, kids of the age that love VAH and HSM shouldn't be surfing the internet unattended to look at nude photos anyway. HSM is appropriate for kids aged about 8-14. Younger is too young (romantic content and high shcool themes are not appropriate for young kids!), and older kids would be bored by how cheesy it is.

Second, it isn't against the rules to be nakes. Good grief, she's an adult and she owns her own body. She didn't pose for a magazine or pinup calendar. She had a boyfriend. I can't imagine her contract said: "Work for Disney, and agree to never have sex in your whole life!"

Finally, VAH is a healthy young woman. Unlike most of these women with leaked naked pictures, she isn't starving herself to death! If anything, this should be uplifting to healthy young girls (whose parents for some reason allow them to surf the internet for naked pictures) to see that a curvy body is healthy, and those bags of bones on the Lohan/Duff/Jolie women are just gross and unhealthy.

She has been working for Disney for years. She had Guest parts in Disney Channel shows. HSM was her big break.

If there are clauses for the actors in the Disney Contracts (I would assume there is regarding thier behavior.) this is a breach of contract.
