Vancouver to Hawaii cruise 2017?

Maybe I should have said one way cruise. One way or repo all the same to me because it requires starting in one port and ending in another.

Yeah, I'm an old time cruiser, anytime a ship moves to a new route, that's a repo cruise. Although Disney has done a great job packaging them as special events.

The September 2015 Hawaii cruises were not repositioning cruises. Instead of sailing from Vancouver to San Diego immediately after the Alaska cruises ended, DCL tacked on two one-way cruises between Vancouver and Honolulu. Those were followed by the Vancouver to San Diego repo cruise.

I was briefly booked on DCL's Honolulu to Vancouver cruise in September. However, it was too close to my May and October cruises, so I cancelled it. At one time the Hawaiian ports showed up on the September 2013 (I think) port calendars, but nothing ever came of it.

I recently booked the May 2017 Radiance of the Seas cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver. I've booked and cancelled that cruise several times, but I think this one may be a keeper. The repo cruises have ranged from 9-13 nights, and this one is 12 nights. The Hawaii portion is similar in itinerary to that of NCL's Pride of America, plus 5 additional nights at sea.

I'm tempted by this radiance cruise also :) being Canadian, the ability to book in CAD and being from near Vancoiver, lots of perks for sure!

A new route is not a repo cruise. The Hawaii cruises Disney done was not a repo cruise.

I agree. A Vancouver to Honolulu cruise would be a repo cruise if it was followed by a Honolulu to Sydney cruise. Vancouver to Honolulu and Honolulu to Vancouver are two one-way cruises before several repo cruises (Vancouver to San Diego and San Diego to Miami). All repo cruises are one-way cruises, but not all one-way cruises are repo cruises.

If you are halfway serious - book it ASAP. It has been selling well, and prices will continue to go up.

Whatever you want to call the cruise it didnt sell that well. Hopefully they will offer it again.

Whenever they do a one way Hawaii again I will book it. That with a aulani stay it was my best vacation ever. Like you said it didn't sell good. But hopefully some year soon they will do it again
