We are a group of 13 people. Can anyone recommend a car service in Vancouver to shuttle my group of 13 between the airport and hotel and vice versa? Can't figure out if it makes more sense to split into several taxis or to try to book a van or minibus for all of us.

To clarify... which hotel?

Taxi's are $31 to $35 for a carload to downtown ride. Most are 4 passenger Prius, but some vans will seat 6. I think breaking your group up for 25 minutes is the best choice.

When arriving at YVR, to the right of the taxi stand is the Sedan's. They cost double. Here's their rates for different sized vehicles.

What time are you arriving? If you really want to stay together.... there's also the subway for $9 an adult. But it means dragging your luggage to your hotel depending on where you are staying. I like taxi's when travelling with luggage.

We are staying at the Pan Pacific and will be arriving at the airport at 1 a.m. in the morning. Sounds like taxis might be the best way to go cost-wise for a short ride. Subway will be difficult with 3 grandmothers in tow.

I was told by a taxi driver that for a big group arranging a limo was more economical.

The quote I got was about $17 per person, which makes a taxi more economical. I'm going to try a couple other car service companies.
