Values and busses

Ok, help me get this correct please! This would be in summer (early June)

All Stars - Each gets it's own bus at opening time.
They share busses back to the resorts mid-day and evening.
Each gets its own bus returning from Magic Kingdom. (There are
seperate lines)

Pop - Has bus area that is roped off to prevent line cutting.
Is closer to the parks.

It seems that as long as the All Star bus only serves 1 section I would have a better chance of getting on that bus. BUT if they are serving all 3 then I would have a better chance of getting on a Pop bus. (This would be a % based on staying at one or the other for the exact same week)

Are there more "good and bad" parts of the bus transportation comparing the 2 values? Are there any times that the All Star busses ALWAYS are split per resort? :) Thanks!

if the All star resorts are sold out - they will get their own buses - but even in off times (around lunch and afternoon) - they will share.

Pop century does not share.

when there is more than one bus can fill at Pop Century - the bus driver will call and another one will appear - generally before the current bus is filled.

happen each and every time we were at Pop century (been there 3 times).

If you are that concerned about busses at a value resort - stay at Pop. It never shares with any other resort.

With the "Magic On Demand' system that they have in place for all buses, when the crowds warrant extra buses, they will be there before you know it.

FYI - All-Stars can share at opening too.

It is not unusual in the morning for a bus to arrive at one of the All Stars and cannot even pick up everybody there. So separate buses are definitely in use.

Even with separate buses, if a bus picks up at one All Star and is not filled, it might go to another All Star to get more people.

At Magic Kingdom there are changeable signs, during rush hours back to the resorts the All Stars have three berths, mid day they only have one for shared buses. Epcot has changeable signs too but I have never seen them configured for separate buses back to the All Stars.

My thinking was that if the All Stars were NOT sharing then less people would be trying to get on the same bus. As Pop has more rooms than each individual All Star. I have stayed at the All Star Movies and thought the bus was crowded at closing time and that was duing the slow season. I am afraid that Pop will be worse as there are more rooms. I am also sure it will be worse since this is our first trip during summer. I am also concerned about the food court at Pop being more crowded since it serves more rooms. We are booked at Pop right now, that's the one my Mom wanted to try. We need 3 rooms so pretty stuck with a value this trip. I know any hotel will be fine, we will spend every waking moment in the parks but just trying to think of all the things that could make it better or worse to go with one over the other. Thanks for the replies.

We stayed at Movies last fall and didn't have any problems. We had to wait at park closing, but there was a huge line for each resort, not just the values; it's just something that's going to happen when that many people are leaving at the same time. We did notice at closing each all star usually had it's own bus; a couple times Music and Sports shared and Movies had it's own. If each had their own, we took the Music bus and walked to Movies as it was always less crowded and only a few minute walk. At the resort, they had the corral-type things to keep people from rushing to the bus as soon as it arrived.

We loved the transportation at Pop, the only long wait we had was coming back from DTD.
