Hey there, just looking for some opinions from the Cdn Disers. My husband and I have been to Disney twice and stayed at ASMu in 2003 & 2004. We are planning another trip for next April/May (14 Days WooHoo!). My question - should we be looking at one of the Moderates. We have enjoyed our stay at ASMu and don't have problem with it. I'm just wondering if it is worth the extra money (especially considering the exchange rate) to stay at one of the Moderates. We do spend some time at the resort but not alot.

Any and all opinions greatly appreciated!

We have stayed at values & deluxe.
You could try Pop for something different.
Or if you are looking at the $$ side of it you could split your stay..do a week at a value and a week at a moderate-this will bring down your cost and you can try out
some new resorts!

To be honest for the difference in price and size you may as well stick with the values. The only real upgrade you get at a moderate is a pool slide and a slightly larger room and not all that much bigger.

:wave2: Hi,
We too will be splitting our stay. When I did the price comparison, between Pop C & Caribbean B it's only a difference of $500 and the pool looks like alot more fun. My kids are teens and they want to rent the paddle boats at CB. Then we'll be moving over to Wilderness L for 3 nights. Disney moves your stuff no charge, so I figured "why not".
Grover is right this gives you a chance to try something new. :flower:
Enjoy your trip!

I would suggest spliting the stay too. We are looking at 5 nights at FQ and 5 nights at CBR in April. We love the mods. Our kids are 5 and 11 right now and we all love the mod pools, food courts and style. We paid ASMo a visit in 2002 and it was very nice, but the crowds got to me. I love mods. I think it's worst the $$$$$. We have stayed at CBR and CSR before. Keep in mind that CBR has LARGE rooms! S

Thanks everyone for your repsones. I really appreciate it. Definatley gives me something to think about.

We too are splitting our stay in October. We are staying 2 nights at the POP and 5 at the OKW. We have agreed to do this for a bunch of our next trips just to see all the resorts (that we might be interested in). If you want why not rent points and stay at one of the home away from home resorts like OKW. Our 5 night stay is costing us a whopping total of $400.00 on rented points from a DVC member. (40 points) Since we are renting points there are no taxes involved. Our original plan was to stay at the POP but when we learned about renting we jumped at the chance. Best Wishes,

Thanks
