Value Season for Hotel???

On the WDW site, there are dates listed for the special prices as 1/1-2/15 and 4/23-9/30. Are these the dates of the Value Season for lower prices for Hotels/Packages??? Are these the only dates of Value Season???

Value & Moderate Resort 2006 Seasons

Value Season: 1/1 - 2/15, 8/27 - 10/4, 11/26 - 12/19
Regular Season: 4/23 - 8/26, 10/5 - 11/25
Peak Season: 2/16 - 4/22
Holiday Season: 12/20 - 12/31

Delux Resort 2006 Seasons

Value Season: 1/1 - 2/15, 7/5 - 10/4, 11/26 - 12/19
Regular Season: 4/23 - 7/4, 10/5 - 11/25
Peak Season: 2/16 - 4/22
Holiday Season: 12/20 - 12/31

If you are referring to the package price of 1500 special. It isn't really a special. That is about what you will pay for a package of 6 nights 7 days in a value hotel with base tickets for a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 junior, 1 child) during value or regular seasons.

Value season Value resort about 80 per night X6 nights = 480 + about 11% tax = about 535
3 adult 7 day base tickets about 200 each = 600
1 child 7 day base ticket about 175 = 175
Total is over 1300. these are very round numbers

In regular season the hotel is about 100 so X6 nights +tax is about 666 so the total would be over 1400. So they are just advertising that you can go for less than 1500. This does not include any food or getting there.
