Value Resorts and AAA discount worth it?

As many of you know I booked All Star Sports for 5 night, at a rate of $74 a night (including taxes). This is for Feb, 15th through the 20th. My question would the price of joining AAA be worth the discount I could get with the card for these 5 days?

I think it's worth it. My AAA membership cost me $27.00 here in NH for the year. It has given me back much more than I have spent.

It's saved us approx. 5% on theme park passes, discounted movie tickets, Lenscrafters 30% off eyeglasses, discounted rates at hotels, dining discounts, etc..Also, it's taken me off the road 2x now when I needed help.

It's totally worth the cost in opinion.

I've been wondering the same thing for us. I think the cost of AAA memberships vary where you live though. I looked into getting a membership for my mom and it was $60 a year. In my area it costs $47. I notice on the page to sign up there is a place for a promotional code. Wonder where to find something like that??

Call your local AAA and ask them what promos are going on. They always have something like a free associate, waiving the entrance fee, or $5 off with automatic renewal here in MD. -Steph
