I input on the differences of these resorts. We have stayed at the sports and my daughter loved it.This year we will be taking my son who is 17.So the room will be full. Are the beds bigger at the mods? Is it worth me to spend extra money on the moderates. we were happy with the sports, but the beds were small everything else was great.Help me with what else the mods have compared to the value hotel. Also how is the transpotation there. At the sports it was great.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...but I believe the moderates and values both have double sized beds. Only the Deluxes have queen sized beds. -HM

The beds are the same size at the moderates. The difference would be that the room is a bit bigger at POR, POFQ and CS and even bigger at CBR. Queens size beds are to be had at the deluxes. Maybe you could snag a discounted rate at AKL or WL which would be comperable to a moderate price.

HM you are correct... only double beds at both value and moderates. . We are spending the extra $20.00 a night this year to upgrade to a King size bed. It's hard sleeping in a double when you have a Queen size at home.

Leslie, the actual room size is larger at the moderates, CBR is the bigest. They also have two sinks in the rooms which helps out when more than one person is trying to get ready. CBR also had a curtin in the area of the sinks. That provided a little more privacy when trying to get ready in the AM.

Ive stayed at both ASMO & DXL, 2 times each. The only advantage I found at the moderate was The lounge entertainment. Other than that, I would rate everything equal, or better at the value.

Well its even harder to sleep in double beds when you are use to a king bed. What activites do they have that aren't at the all sports.

I had 2 sinks at the moderates and only one at the value. Just to show how different everyone's opinions are, I think the moderates are well worth the difference in cost. Overall theming, CMs (food courts at AS reminded me of being in a college dorm). And I'm one who's usually very "thrifty".
