Value resort question

Please humor me. I'm sure it's been asked a blue million times but is there any reason to pick one of the value resorts (except AofA) over another? We have never stayed on property before. We are doing a split stay in April with Caribbean Beach and I need to choose a value resort to move to for a couple of days at the end. We will be hanging out at the resort one day and going to EPCOT the second day. I'd appreciate any thoughts to help me make a decision. Thanks!

In my opinion Pop Century is a little nicer than the All-Stars, but that is mostly because of the location and that it never shares buses. For one park day I don't think that matters too much, and the amenities, like the main pool and such are very similar. Pop has two auxiliary pools, but the All-Stars have one each. They are pretty much the same in most regards.

I love the All-Stars,but I always give POP the edge because it sits on a beautiful Lake(or it did before Gondola construction began!lol).:)

I prefer the Sports over Pop. The Sports is much smaller, and I like the food court much better. To me the smaller size is a nice plus as it means you are fighting fewer guests for space in all of the public areas--the pools, the food court, the gift shop, and the bus stop.

In terms of the All Stars, I liked Sports the best because of its layout. You can book any room and there isn't a ton of walking to the front building. For both ASMusic and ASMovies, you will have quite a hike unless you purchase a preferred room. With that said, I would never stay at Sports during high school sports/cheerleader season. If you are going when the high schools are going, please avoid Sports at all costs. From what I've heard, Movies is the most adult-oriented of the 3 (I've only stayed there once when I was a toddler so I can hardly remember). If you decide on Music, it will be a bit of a hike from the standard rooms and there will more likely be more families there since they're the only AS resort to offer suites. Best of luck!

before the refurbished rooms at POP, i wouldn't say there was much of a difference.

I’ve not stayed at Sports, Music, or Movies. The only value I’ve stayed at is Pop, and I really liked it. Liked that Pop doesn’t share busses with any other resorts. Liked the food court. Room were nice and clean. Looking forward to staying there when refurbishments are

We like to stay in Mighty Ducks at Movies.

Ducks is a Standard section,BUT Ducks is SO close to Melody Hall at Music it is like staying in a Music Preferred Room!:)
Good to know! Then I recommend Movies if you don't mind spending a little bit more.

Pop is a little newer and more centrally located. I've stayed at all of them and would again, but prefer Pop. I don't spend much time at the resort anyway.
