has anyone stayed at one of the value resort family suites. we are planning a trip at the end of january and never stayed on property before. the last three times we rented a vacation home, but i would love to stay on property just once to experience it all. is the refrigerator a decent size? any information would be greatly appreciated.

The fridge is small, the suite is fabulous. We really loved it and would recommend it. If you would like to see some pics go to allearsnet dot com and click on Accomodations at the top and on fact sheet under All Star Music. Scroll down about 1/2 way and there is a link to some pics.

Here is a link to the FAQ thread ( It has lots of photos and info on the first page.There are reviews scattered throughout the thread starting around page 7 and lots of photos I took on page 11 )about the Family Suites at All Star Music:

The fridge is larger under the counted size with a small frezzer.

I have photos of the fridge posted in my review. The link to my review is posted below.

DH and I stayed in a Family Suite at All Star Music ( a value resort) in Sept. of 2006.

We really enjoyed the Queen size bed, the kitchenette with the microwave, having a sofa and cushioned chair to sit on and relax after a day at the parks before retiring for the evening.

I thought the pullouts very comfortable.

They are designed so the back cushion and seat cushion of the pullout support the pullout. There is no metal bar to hurt the sleepers back.

Have fun at Disney wherever you choose to stay!:wizard:

Are you considering January 08 or January 09. These suites book quickly. There may not be any available for January 08. I would call ASAP to check.
If you are used to a full vacation home, I think you will fiind the size of the Family Suites small. It is the size of 2 small hotel rooms together.

how many will the suite sleep? From the floor plan it looks like it is only designed to sleep 4.

It sleeps 6 people plus a child under 3 in a pac-n-play.
The Queen size bed in the master area sleeps 2, the pull out sofa sleeps two. Plus the chair and the ottoman will pull out each sleeping 1 more person.

Here are some photos of the living,sleeping area which are posted on the resorts page of the DIS;
