value at AKL

Can someone tell me what are the value accomodations at AKL? Do thet miss something?

And also if the sofa beds/chairs are comfortable. (not just for small kids but for an adult, like grandma for exemple)

They are shorter than the other room at AKV Jambo House by about 3 feet. The 1 and 2 bedroom units do not have the sleeper chair in the living room. They do have the sleeper sofa. They only exist in Jambo House.

I stayed at a value Studio with my 3 teenage grandchildren for 3 nights last year before a cruise. We were very comfortable there. I think it is the best DVC deal around.

We will be 3 adults and 3 kids (but one under 3) So I guess I will have to chose between the 2 bdr value or 1 bdr regular that have the sleeper chair.

Also, all 2-bedroom units at AKV Jambo House are lock-offs. They will consist of a 1-bedroom and a studio with a connecting door.

Yes, the value one bedroom only sleeps four plus one under the age of three.

If you decide on the one bedroom, I would try for Kidani since it comes with two baths and Kidani or Jambo, they are the same points.

The Value rooms are converted hotel rooms at Jambo. They are a bit smaller than the Kadini rooms. DVC took over the top floors of Jambo when they started building AKV and had inventory to sell quicker, the conversion at Jambo was faster than building Kadani.

All of the villas at Jambo House are converted hotel rooms, not just the value rooms. The value rooms were smaller to begin with.

That's why none of the Jambo House one bedrooms and larger have a separate shower from the tub.
