Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for stopping in and sending your good thoughts my way.

I called the dr. back today because the pain is still pretty bad and is now also in my lower stomach area. They got my test results back and I don't have a UTI and they don't know what's going on . I go in tomorrow again to have an exam. I'm really worried.

I have absolutely nothing ready for the trip which is so not like me. My heart just isn't in it right now. I already informed DH that he will be helping tomorrow to get things done. Plus, I have stuff to do for Thanksgiving too.

I will probably try and get to bed early tonight just to get some extra rest so I probably won't get to journals until tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll have good news from the dr. to report.

I am sending prayers and for you. Of course, DH will help. Men need very detailed instruction and constant prodding, but are actually capable individuals. They just don't want us to know it. It means more work for them.

Ok, seriously. I hope your appointment goes well, and you get answers today. I know you are worried about the being away while not feeling well. Please try to relax. I know, easy for me to say. Please let us know what the doctor says before you go.

I have a quick minute to post in between tasks and thought I would let you all know how it went at the dr. . They did a vag. ultra sound and couldn't see anything in my uterus. He said that's not uncommon as I'm fairly early on. He also couldn't even see my ovaries but doesn't think it ectopic because the pain has subsided. I still wished I could have had that confirmation though. They drew blood today and I need to go back early on Friday before we head out of town for some more. Then I will call on Monday from Florida for the results. If the count is going up, then all is probably well. The pain is pretty much gone and I still think I had some kind of infection (maybe kidney) because it does seem that the antibiotic helped. I'm to continue the antibiotic and head to an ER in Florida if I have any more severe pain.

Thanks so much for all the prayers . I really believe in the power of prayer and they seem to be working . If you could, please continue to send them my way.

I have about 2 million things to do today but I am really going to try and hit everyone's journals before we head out of town. Thanks again for thinking of me everyone. I really appreciate it.

You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I know all about waiting for blood test results all too well. I pray Val that God be with you, that He will give you strength, peace and that He will give you some wonderful news on Monday or sooner!

Just a thought... when I had to have my HCG blood tests done, I had a weekend wait too. I was so worried my DH called the doctor on a Sunday and God bless him, he got the results for us. Maybe you could ask your doctor to call you with the results when the lab has them on Friday. That way you could leave for WDW with an answer.

Val, you are going to be in my thoughts and prayers. I have been in a similar situation as you are currently in and am here for you if you have any questions or just need to talk. Please take very good care of you and let DH finish packing for WDW.

Hi Val,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope all goes ok with your counts. You can call on Friday and get the results. At our lab we have to request that we want to know the results for ourselves so they give out a code right after the lab is drawn. If you don't request to be told the result at the time of the draw they won't give you any info later. They tell you when to call and you can get the result asap. I find this quicker then waiting for the doctor's office to call. Just a thought to ease your mind. Hope you are packed and ready to go. Have a safe trip. I might see you Sunday night at the party. Have a wonderful vacation Val! Take the time to enjoy each special little moment with DS! They grow so fast! And while it is still fun when they are older, it is a different vacation all together.

Hi all,
I'm baaack! Whew, it seems like I have been gone forever. This Dis looks different . Our trip was great but I was pretty sick through most of it. At least that is a sign of a healthy pregnancy, right? My counts went up from the lab work and I have a appointment on Tuesday. I plan on writing a trip report soon and I'm going to catch up with some journals now. I missed you guys . We have the Clay Aiken concert tonight so I'm not sure how far I'll get with journals but I'll try.

Well, we didn't make it to the concert after all yesterday. I was feeling SOOO nauseas (I know I had to have spelled that wrong -- sorry) that the thought of driving all the way there (almost two hours) in rush hour traffic was just too much. I love Clay but the thought of curling up in bed was too tempting. So we wasted a lot of money on tickets but neither of us regret it. It was the right decision at the time. Today has been another sick to my stomach day (surprise surprise). I'm going to ask on Tuesday for something to take for this nausea. I don't remember being so sick with DS. Maybe that means this one is a girl .

Since I have been so sick I haven't been eating much but I also haven't been doing much exercise (well, except on vacation. I walked plenty there, I'll tell ya). I need to try and get drinking more water again.
